FALLING TO PIECES Frontwoman Killed In Motorcycle Accident

Nicci DeSoto, lead vocalist of the Livermore, California thrash/metalcore act FALLING TO PIECES, was killed early yesterday morning (Saturday, November 6) in a motorcycle accident. She was only 25 years old.

FALLING TO PIECES features in its ranks Scott Danough, co-founder and longtime guitarist for Orange County, California's BLEEDING THROUGH. The quintet independently released an EP in 2009 entitled "Awaken The Weak".

According to the band's official bio, "Awaken the Weak" "combines Nicci's wicked screams and beautiful clean singing (both of which can compete with any of today’s leading ladies of metal) with the band's unique blend of thrash-oriented, melodic, and brutally groove-driven songwriting.
